Sometimes The Donkey Eats You
posted by Absinthe | 10:53 PM
I successfully imploded out of every tourney I ran today. In two of the Full Tilt guarantees I played, I worked my way up to top 5 in chips, only to lose a few races, then finally lose my chips against either sucker draws (bottom end of an OESD for a pot-size all-in bet on the turn – bon chance, mister big stack), strange calls (I know I like to call my chips off with A5s when a guy who hasn’t played a hand since he sat down goes all-in for 8x the BB), or other unmemorable donkishness. At least in the Hammer Out Cancer tourney I got to go out pushing 27o into KK.
I’ve been much more tiltable these last few days than ever before and I’m not quite sure why, so I think I’m going to take a week off from online play and concentrate on my nascent juggling career. Or mimery. Maybe blade running instead. I’ll probably cave the first time I’m near a computer and a guarantee is about to start, but promises were made to be cracked.

Juggling and blade running sound like fun.

Let’s go. Mime is money.
