I had no idea I wasn't allowed to bring in a cameraphone, so I brought my Razr down from UCLA. Luckily, the security guy recognized that I was a student, and I'd pretty obviously walked the whole way from school, so he allowed me to keep my phone, on the condition that it was turned off at all times. So naturally I pirated the whole film and posted it on the Internet. I guess you don't have to deal with it regularly because of the types of screenings you go to, but it seems like most of the screenings I've been to have this rule strictly enforced. Or they're putting phones into poorly labeled baggies - no thanks! What's more annoying to me is that they continue to put these lame cameras onto phones. I refuse to buy a phone with a camera for this exact reason, but it's definitely a challenge to find one that doesn't have it.
