Got It In Good
posted by Absinthe | 11:00 PM
Out. AKs outrun by KQo. T9x flop, one club, I have clubs. Turn is Jack of clubs. River is neither a club nor a queen, but is a king just to rub the salt in a little.
He was right to call the raise – the blinds had just jumped to 300/600/75. I had just under 4k left after posting the SB. Which I’d gotten by pushing on limpers and restealing – my high water mark was 4500. Still frustrating, as that was the pot I needed to win to make a run and that was the best hand I’d seen snce level one.
21 tables left, probably 200 players left out of 1250ish, which I think squares eerily with my predictions. Tomorrow, limit hold ‘em, which should allow me to get junk-kicked over and over instead of all in one go.

3:1 preflop
3:1 on the flop
17:1 on the turn
You can’t get much better than that. Better luck tomorrow.

Or rather 1:3 on the turn.
I’m going to shut up for a while now.
