The Proper Thing To Do After Being Thrown By A Horse

posted by Absinthe | 1:54 PM

Granted, you can’t ever be completely sure. I’d bet in his idle moments Christopher Reeve wished he’d taken the second-to-last time a bit more ominously, and a lot of people would be better off trading perfect hindsight for an ounce of precognition.

But you gotta do what you gotta do. Just the other day I was searching the local tournament schedules with an eye toward marking off some days in my calendar come October or so, and realized there’s a $540 NLHE today at the Bike, there are no pressing pre-parenting obligations, and my bankroll is plenty healthy. So I’m gassing up the car and heading thataway; depending on the structure and the breaks reports may or may not be forthcoming.
