Hence this message arrives like eleven hours late and is obviously not much for the here-and-now. Tourney more or less unmemorable - few playable hands, not much luck with the ones that were, I busted about 70/280.]
Somehow I’ve walked past the Bicycle deli like fifty times without ever registering its existence. Either that or it miraculously appeared, in my hour of need – these are one-day events and there’s no dinner break – to supply me with a BLT.
It also turns out that today is a $340 event, not a $550 – that’s tomorrow. That means I’m already ahead over $200! Might come out tomorrow as well depending on how today goes. And Saturday there’s a $550 HORSE event, which is awfully tempting – even though I don’t play it much I think my edge might be bigger in the Stud games against these fields than it is in limit hold’em.
